Introducing HMO Deductible Plans and Small Group Plan Changes with Fabulous Rates Effective 4/1/2010

In an effort to increase affordability and choice, Sharp Health Plan is pleased to offer two new HMO deductible plans for both small and large groups effective 4/1/2010. These plans are available for both new business and renewals, and are offered on both Sharp Health Plan’s Blue Choice and Gold Value networks.
  • $1000ded/$30/40 with 30% inpatient coinsurance and $3500/7000 OOP max
  • $1500ded/$40/40 with 40% inpatient coinsurance and $4000/8000 OOP max
Additionally, Sharp Health Plan has made some changes to the current small group portfolio that are effective 4/1/2010 for both new business and renewals. These changes will be explained in our renewal packages.

Q2 2010 Sharp Health Plan’s Gold Value rates are more competitive than ever with these benefit changes and the addition of deductible plans. You may obtain a Sharp Health Plan Blue Choice network quote by calling your Account Representative.

  • Brokers can view commission statements.
  • Employers (and brokers with employer approval) can view their medical and Rx benefits and bills, or transact enrollment changes like adding new employees or dependents, or terminating employees. These new features will greatly streamline administration for you and your clients.
  • Members can view their medical and Rx benefits, print a temporary ID card (or request a new one), change their PCP, access wellness tools and resources, email to Customer Care and more.
