Sharp Health Plan Receives High Marks
on Member Satisfaction Survey
For the second year in a row, Sharp Health Plan ranked first in San Diego in overall member satisfaction with their health plan. With a 94th percentile rating, members rated Sharp Health Plan highest in 8 categories, including measures of quality of health plan, care, and customer service. This score is significantly above the mean score of the 237 plans that chose to report their scores publicly.
The survey was administered in 2009 by Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS).

Be Your Best
This year, Sharp Health Plan will be introducing an expanded menu of health and wellness programs.
Coming soon is Kick It; a smoking cessation program that will be offered to Sharp Health Plan members free of charge. Members will receive personalized one-on-one, telephone-based support from an experienced health coach to help them quit smoking.
